Tage Koch Jensen and Maja Hydal are the new hosts at Røisheim in 2024. With a passion for great food and unique experiences, they will continue Røisheim’s tradition of honoring the place’s history while delighting its guests. “We look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests.”
Maja is a trained chef with experience from restaurants and hotel management in France and Denmark. At Røisheim, Maja will primarily take care of the guests and the day-to-day hotel operations.
Tage is a trained chef in both Denmark and France. He has experience from the five-star restaurant Resumé in Svendborg and from Kleivstua in Norway. In the kitchen, Tage aims to combine French cuisine with Nordic flavors, often using local ingredients that can be foraged.

Røisheim is located just off Sognefjellsveien, one of Norway's National Tourist Roads that runs from East to West between Lom in Gudbrandsdalen and Luster in Sogn. It is about 15 km from Lom to Røisheim.
The easiest way to get to Røisheim is by car and there are electric chargers available at the parking.
